With summer behind us, the fashion scene is bursting with crisp autumn apparel and accessory trends worth “falling” for. Here are a few notable wearables that exemplify some of my favorite style staples of this season:

TREND: Equestrian Style
“Corrine” Boot by Cat Footwear ( – $275
Equestrian boots endure as one of this season’s coolest looks! Versatile, comfortable, and effortlessly chic, the Corrine boot by Cat Footwear in particular are a shoe-in. These boots play with contrasting elements like worn leathers with high tech performance materials, matching old and distressed with clean and modern. An updated take on the classic equestrian boot, the Corrine features distressed leathers with contrasting leather buckle details and antique brass hardware, resulting in a fresh yet well-worn aesthetic. This new take on a traditional silhouette is a timeless fashion statement that suits every woman.

TREND: Ankle Booties
“Rivo Boot” ( – $225
For this season’s boho chic fashions, the Rivo boot makes a hip style statement. Inspired by the Italian fashion scene, this adaptation is riddled with modern sophistication and dynamic design elements. Available in both brown and gray, this healed bootie style shoe is crafted from luscious leather. A buckled leather strap, affixed slouch sock and ruggedized, treaded sole amp up this boot’s cool factor. Whether you pair the eye-catching Rivo boot with casual wear or night-on-the-town looks, you’ll be hitting the streets in style!

TREND: Knee High Boots
“Selby” Boot ( – $79
Elevate any look your look to one of sleek sophistication in the high-heeled Selby. From fall to winter, this suede, knee-high boot makes a fitting addition to any wardrobe and is a versatile accessory for a range of cold-weather looks. Designed with striking lines and crafted with durable top-quality materials, the Selby also features a fabric upper, rubber sheet sole, and nylon zipper. Boots are, of course, always a fall trend and the Selby is sure to pair with a myriad of this season’s chic looks.

TREND: Animal Print, Gold, Hardware Adornments
“Grand Street Café” Leopard Flat ( – $175
The Grand Street Café Leopard Flat was made for a sophisticated, elegant, and decidedly stylish woman. The gold metal bit buckle and half-inch stacked wooden heel are touches of class that with enrich an aptly coordinated outfit. Designed in New York City and crafted in Brazil, the Grand St. Cafe Leopard Loafer notably incorporates an artisanal bit buckle that has resin detail emblazoned in the center. The leopard design is embossed on genuine pony calf hair. It also features a flexible rubber sole to ensure comfort. Worn with anything from a skirt to slim jeans, the Grand Street Café Leopard Flat will be worn on innumerable fabulous feet this fall.

TREND: Color/Texture/PatternTights
Bootights ( – $30-$40
Hey fashionistas, these aren’t your mother’s pantyhose! Bootights are the only tight designed exclusively for boots with an attached moisture-wicking mid-calf or ankle sock built right in. These tights, also boasting a control-top, are also designed with sculpted cushioning and arch support for ultimate comfort in boots. This season, Bootights are available in new colors and styles that are trend forward. Dark wine is now an option because of the popularity of the color this season.  “Lincoln Park,” an updated open knit, adds texture to the leg and looks great with the more traditional boots to the industrial boots so popular now with the chunky heels. The chocolate cable knit also looks great with western boots. Bootights also come in patterns with an ankle height sock that complement the fall trend toward ankle boots and booties.

TREND: Dolman Sleeves
CV by Cynthia Vincent Dolman Sleeve Cardigan ( – $63
There’s just nothing like a chunky, cozy sweater when the temperature drops and the wind blows. This versatile plush wool blend cardigan from CV by Cynthia Vincent will be my constant companion this year! Popular Dolman sleeves and a self belt ensure the look is on point. Available in basic black or grey and in sizes XXS – 3X, this sweet sweater is easy to wear and wash and pairs extremely well with this season’s top prints, patterns, and colors for both work and weekend wear.

TREND: Fashion Watches
ISAAC MIZRAHI LIVE! Animal Print Bracelet Stretch Watch ( – $31
It’s amazing how a fun and funky watch can really jazz up an ensemble. And, this ISAAC MIZRAHI LIVE! timepiece definitely fits the bill. The animal print expansion band watch, available in Leopard/Goldtone or Zebra/Silvertone, features a sunray dial and the designer’s logo at the 12. Arabic numbers are located at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock points. The rest of the clock features round clear crystals at other hours. There are also hour, minute, and second hands. The watch has a stainless steel push pull crown, case back, and band. Pair this accessory with any of fall’s hottest solid colors and give your wrist a fierce look inspired by the wild.

TREND: Gold, Statement Jewelry
Susan Graver Hammered Texture Y Necklace ( – $26
From Susan Graver for QVC, this is a fun and flirty statement necklace with “fringe benefits.” The piece features a Y-shape design that drapes in flattering form over the declote’. Texture-rich rectangular hammered discs dangle from an oval link chain and, at the center, several discs dangle to complete the Y-shape effect. It measures approximately 26-1/2″L plus 3″ extender x 1/8″W, necklace, and 13-1/2″L x 3-1/2″W, drape. This fashion-forward necklace will be an exceptional standout with a wide range of fall fashions—from suits and casual daywear to elegant night-time looks. Be prepared to be noticed.
